Krystyn is a provisional licensed professional counselor from Gretna, LA. Krystyn graduated from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans with her Master of Arts in School Counseling. Much of her work has been focused around providing therapy services for children and adolescents. Krystyn’s passion for working with children flourished while working as a Registered Behavior Therapist for the past 4 years at a local center for children between the ages of 2-6 diagnosed with Autism and related disorders. She views counseling from a person-centered approach while utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to address each client’s unique goals. Madelynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose primary specialty is in relationship counseling. Madelynn completed her Master’s Degree in both Clinical Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Holy Cross. Kim is in charge of making all new clients feel welcome at CORE. Her main role is to schedule appointments and match new clients to their ideal provider. Kim's administrative duties include verifying insurance, providing intake documents, and orienting all CORE clients to our procedures and policies. Kim is the person you want to contact when needing information about our services, programs, and documentation. When she is not not working, Kim enjoy spending time with her kids, husband and 2 cats, walking the lakefront or reading a good book.
SHANNON SEYMOUR

Shannon earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Holy Cross. She graduated from Louisiana State University in the late 90s with a degree in chemical engineering, and then spent the next 20 years raising her children. Her interest in counseling grew over those years, as did her interest in working with adopted and foster children and their families. When she is not in school or spending time with her loved ones, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the foster care system in St. Charles Parish. In her free time, she enjoys learning new things.
